NC Teaching Fellows -Past Deadline

The Robin Hardy Hodgin Scholarship Fund Application -Past Deadline
Criteria: Must be a resident of Surry, Carroll or Patrick County. Will complete the 12th grade and will have received a high school diploma by the end of the 2023-2024 school year. Must take sufficient hours to be considered a full-time student at their college of choice. Must complete the application packet by the noted deadline. This packet will
contain: A signed and fully completed application. A copy of their most recent certified high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores. A copy of a current FAFSA form. A letter of acceptance for the fall semester from a community college,

Alliance Insurance Services Promotes Safe Driving by Offering Scholarship Money -Past Deadline
In recognition of April as “Distracted Driving Month”, Alliance Insurance Services will be awarding money for college to three students who produce the best videos on the dangers of distracted driving.
“We’re doing this because teen drivers are nearly three times more likely than adults to die in an automobile crash“, said Christopher Cook, owner of Alliance Insurance Services. “These deaths could be prevented if we can just convince teenagers not to text, eat, or talk on the phone while driving.” Competition for the scholarship money is open to any North Carolina student planning to enroll in a community college or university this fall. The video can be up to three minutes in length

Alliance Insurance Services Promotes Safe Driving by Offering Scholarship Money -Past Deadline
In recognition of April as “Distracted Driving Month”, Alliance Insurance Services will be awarding money for college to three students who produce the best videos on the dangers of distracted driving.
“We’re doing this because teen drivers are nearly three times more likely than adults to die in an automobile crash“, said Christopher Cook, owner of Alliance Insurance Services. “These deaths could be prevented if we can just convince teenagers not to text, eat, or talk on the phone while driving.” Competition for the scholarship money is open to any North Carolina student planning to enroll in a community college or university this fall. The video can be up to three minutes in length
